#1 Cigar of the Year: Fratello Navetta Endeavor

After discovering the Fratello brand early in 2019, I couldn't get enough. After smoking just about every line Fratello offers, I realized Navetta was my favorite. The Fratello Navetta Endeavor is an amazing cigar. Its flavors are rich and chocolatey, and there's not even a hint of pepper to threaten the deliciousness of this cigar. An absolute must-try!

best cigar of 2019 - rocky patel special edition sixty

When I left the lounge after smoking the Rocky Patel Special Edition Sixty, I immediately started planning how I could get another one. best cigar of 2019 - RoMa Craft Intemperance EC XVIII Brotherly Kindness

Like a lot of cigar smokers, if you stay away from lighter cigars for fear that they lack flavor, you're not only missing a whole world of cigars, but you're also depriving yourself of the flavor bomb that is the RoMa Craft Intemperance EC XVIII Brotherly Kindness. When I think back over all of the cigars I got to try in 2019, one cigar stands out. That cigar is the C.L.E. Prieto Robusto, and the word that comes to mind is, “fun!” The Prieto was a super-fun cigar to smoke. The strong flavors of ginger make this well made cigar memorable. If you like cigars (duh!) and chocolate s'mores roasted over a campfire, then you'll fall in love with the Fratello Navetta Inverso Toro Gordo. This cigar is practically flawless. And, just because the Navetta ranked #1, I couldn't leave this equally-delicious cigar off the list. Grab one; smoke one; then tell me it wasn't delicious!

#10: Foundation El Guenguense Natural Toro

best cigar of 2019 - Foundation El Guenguense Natural Toro

Approximately 75% of the flavor of any cigar comes from the wrapper leaf. And in the case of the El Guenguense by Foundation Cigar Co., the Corojo “natural” wrapper is superior to the Mexican San Andres “maduro” version. The El Guenguense Natural Toro is a wonderfully constructed, delicious cigar that I'm already shopping for so I can smoke it again!
